You’ve gotta love a new factory MotoGP prototype… exciting stuff!
So what’s it gonna be? Well of course no details yet, but Kevin Cameron over at Cycle World makes a good case for an inline-four. There’s also an excellent discussion (as always) over at MotoMatters.com.
It seems like Suzuki will be entering this bike as a factory effort (rather than playing at tricky games to enter it as a CRT bike), Suzuki have said they will return in 2014, but a return in 2013 has not been ruled out either.
The other possibly exciting thought is that Suzuki could be developing their new MotoGP project with a view to also use it as a base for the next GSX-R1000 model. Finally a new bike from the Big Four that will be able to trump the S1000RR and Panigale? Perhaps… As Kev Cameron says, “we shall have the pleasure of anticipation”.
